Pizza Burgers

YIELD: 4 servings

4 hamburger patties
1 teaspoon steak rub seasoning of your choice
8 tablespoons COSTANTINO'S KITCHEN GRANDMA ANGIE'S TOMATO BASIL
4 slices mozzarella or provolone cheese
4 ciabatta rolls, sliced in half
4 tablespoons pesto


Season patties on both sides with steak rub. Grill or broil the patties until half cooked and flip them over. Spoon the sauce onto the patties, cover with cheese and close the lid. Split the rolls and toast the cut surfaces lightly on the grill just before the patties are done. Spread pesto on the toasted surfaces, add the burger and enjoy.

HEALTHY ALTERNATIVE: Use turkey burgers and whole wheat buns.
